Who we are
Fayazee Welfare Foundation, Chittagong Bangladesh starts it’s journey in 2004 with a view to reduce the curse of poverty, hunger and malnutrition and sufferings of disaster affected helpless people. It is a non-profit, charitable and non-government development agency to serve distressed humanity irrespective of caste, creed, race, color, religious and other identities.
Poverty alleviation is one of it’s major thrives through providing capital support and technical training to the poor and ultra-poor community members for running income and employment generation activities. Alongside, Education, healthcare, safe water supply, sanitation, hygiene education, disaster preparedness, orphan support, construction of mosques, orphanages, relief and rehabilitation are being implemented since inception. The beneficiaries are offered occasional assistance as well during Holy Ramadan and the two Eid festivals through distribution of food, clothing items, Qurbani meat and cash help etc.
The FWF has been serving distressed humanity irrespective of caste, creed, race, colure, religion, ethnicity and nationality. Universal primary education, Technical & Vocational training, Income Generating Program, Islamic Microfinance, Healthcare, Water, sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation, Orphan Support, Ramadan Support, Eid-Gift, Qurbani Support, etc. are the major areas of intervention.
